    Stayed here for just one night en route to Germany. I'd stay here again if passing through, or indeed extend the stay for a few days. The staff were friendly and the hotel clean. Breakfast was good, and good to have free and plenty of parking. This is not a luxury or boutique hotel, but then this is reflected in the prices - certainly good value for money.     good hotel, could do with some renovations. Breakfast room had already nice renovation and breakfast was excellent.     The room was very basic and the bed had seen better days. The room wasn’t soundproof , you could hear the road, the train and noise from the other rooms. The breakfast was very good, with a nice buffet.     The first room that I was offered smelt of cigarettes, the furniture very basic and the decor poor. The cleaners left the windows wide open to reduce the smell but made little difference, that with the room directly on a busy noisy road made it absolutely not a place to stay. The second room offered was better in that the decor slightly improved and smelt OK. The sound proofing was so bad that I could hear a couple enjoying their afternoon on a different floor.
