The famous Bastille fortifications are only a short distance from the establishment and offer a magnificent view over Grenoble. The centre of town is just 1 km from the establishment and can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. How is this place a 4 star rated hotel. The company I work for booked this thru the state theatre. I found myself in a room without windows, very depressing on the 4th floor, wanted to change and Anoushka, the white front desk lady forcefully and patronizingly was told not possible. Then told I needed permission from the theatre to make this happen. So I had to call different people to allow "momm… How is this place a 4 star rated hotel. The company I work for booked this thru the state theatre. The Residhome Appart Hotel at the “Caserne de Bonne” in Grenoble was one of my classics in the pre-COVID era, and I came back to it recently in the context of a business trip to Grenoble. I was very happy to see that the excellent service, rooms and facilities are still in order. I have never given a bad review before but there's always a first. I am booked into this hotel by my company but am finding it very disagreeable. On arrival a woman thrust paperwork in my face and insisted I had cancelled my booking. I said I had just arrived in the country and had done no such thing. She was incredibly aggressive.
