  Whilst these apartments are great value and well located in a decent resort, they unfortunately let themselves down with some easy to fix issues.The good stuff: we had a four bedroom apartment for 8 people and it felt spacious.   Very good location - approx. 200m from gondola and slope. Kitchen with toaster and microwave, but you have to pay for WiFi. Door to the building from the main road what is strange - reception and road to slope are from the opposite side of the building. Only one sauna session per room per day.   Ok you just spend your first day at le Hameau. Just breathe, relax, enjoy the view, try to focus on your happy place. Keep in mind the good stuff: you are really just steps away from the main gondola or the toddler's ski pen, all restaurants offer decently priced cheese-based plates, plenty of ski related shopping options, a fairly decent nightlife and best of all, Serre Chevalier itself!   This is our sixth visit to the Rocher Blanc and at least our 10th to Serre Chevalier. We were going to try somewhere different this year but Serre Che ticks all the boxes for us so we came back and didn't regret it.
