A no-nonsense apartment style hotel. Located on harbour front in Dunkirk. No ambience or atmosphere, but clean and functional. Area surrounding it is dead at night. My visit didn't start well - I made the reservation In Booking about and hour before arrival and immediately got a confirmation by e-mail. However, the receptionist said she couldn't see my reservation and therefore couldn't give me the room. She suggested I do something else and try again later. I was tired and hungry, so I went to buy something to eat. Location is perfect for the centre of Dunkerque, the studio apartment was perfect for our weekend stay. This place is an absolute rip off. The man at check in was rude and unhelpful. The room was more like a cell than a hotel. Mould in the ventilator filters, the shower was discussing and the shutters on the windows are loud and uninviting. The other room had people shouting and partying all night long. This is an absolute scam, they offer a special offer on their own website including breakfast and the charge you afterwards for it separately. Staff at reception is horrible, rude and not interested and lying about that overcharged fee is only a standard reservation and that the correct amount will be charged afterwards what ofcourse is not the case.
