The Hôtel Posta Vecchia consists of two buildings, one across from the other. The room we were assigned is located in the building where the hotel reception is, a rather new building with a very small elevator that can accommodate one person and their luggage. Horrible management. Greedy, and unethical. I have a written agreement with them from a cancellation last year that I could use the booking at a later date. Within twelve months of the original booking. I’ve tried contacting them numerous times but to no avail. Because they’d rather keep my money than honour the agreement.Horrible management. Small stay on Bastia for a wedding.
Very friendly welcome. The staff is attentive and very helpful. The room is simple, clean, equipped (hair dryer, tv, shower gel...). Very comfortable bedding. Close to port and citadel. Be aware: pictures on web are not reality. Really disappointing place.
This hotel either has 2 structures or a double personality, as the rooms on their website are NOTHING like what we encountered. Our experience was terrible. Our original room was 604 – up under the eaves. The bathroom was inexcusable – the cauk around the toilet was cracked and orange in some places. There was no shower, but a small tub in the middle of the wall with a shower hose – no enclosure.… This hotel either has 2 structures or a double personality, as the rooms on their website are NOTHING like what we encountered.
