It is the perfect base for exploring the area’s 2000 years of history, visiting the fascinating monuments and sampling delicious traditional cooking. The centre of Carcassonne is just a 15-minute walk away. Toulouse-Blagnac Airport is approximately 90 km from the resort.

38 apartments, 82 studios and 9 single rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Services and facilities include a baggage storage service, a laundry service, a fax machine, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm. Amenities include a drinks machine. I stayed at Comfort Aparthotel Zenitude Carcassonne for almost two weeks, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel completely at home. A basic hotel, suitable really for 1 or 2 nights. On the plus side, the room was spacious with comfy beds and the kitchenette with fridge was a real bonus. The negatives - souless, small pool area, not the most attractive surroundings (between 2 roads).Just about walking distance to town but ideally you need a car. To me it felt like a university student hall.Arrived to a locked gate. no welcome sign in gate. Travelling through as a family and stopped here to visit the beautiful medieval castle of Carcassonne. Directly in the city was too expensive, and we decided on this place because of the location, price, space we needed, pool, free parking and security.
