Disappointing Hotel

Hotel was in a great location and staff in reception were friendly.However, on the first morning we advised them that the extractor fan and hairdryer didn't work. We were told maintenance would get onto it. Nothing was done. The pedal bin in bathroom was broken, we could stick the shower cap box to a drinking glass in the bathroom as the glass was so sticky, and the standard lamp didn't work. As part of a group of 9 we ate at the restaurant this evening. What a terrible experience!! We have been regularly guests this hotel choosing it because our welcome and stays have been great.On this visit far from that! A particular member of staff on reception and restaurant made our visit absolutely awful. On the first complaint the hotel manager kindky acknowledged our upset. We were returning 4 days later.
