Dated and stark needs completely refurbish!!!! Pool dangerous . We had booked 5 nights but manager to escape next door to ibis Don't book here

Nice little budget hotel. A little tired in places but very clean, with nice staff and conveniently located for the city and getting around. Safe, with a gated carpark.

Ideal location for visiting citadel. Near bus route/stop for airport. Pleasant and helpful staff at reception. Good continental buffet style breakfast. Upgraded to apartment with balcony which was a much appreciated surprise. Great stay.

AVOID at al costs, you WILL regret staying here

First the good bit. The staff are very friendly. The place is dilapidated, run down and a complete con. Rooms are nothing at all like the photos shown, dark, dingy, dirty. Rooms stank of drains. Light globes missing, soap dispenser missing, half roll of toilet paper with no spare, we had to pay for an "upgrade" if we wanted a shower and were assigned a room where the shower was broken, How do they miss missing /broken lights, a shower that is completely broken and unusable ? Housekeeping never came into our room, second night (out of 3) we had to make a special request to have the towels changed. Paint peeling, brown marks on the wall by the toilet paper. They charged our card 3 nights stay AND also charged the card 3 nights stay as a deposit. Said all Hotels in France do this which was rubbish, the Hotels get an Authority but not an actual charge. Euro 15.00 "Fine" if you do not take your rubbish out to the skips the other side of the compound before you check out, !!! WiFi was slower than dial up. 1 small pot of milk and minimal Tea and coffee. At this price. I believe this place is being prepared to be demolished. Landscaped Gardens a complete joke, holes where trees had been dug out, irrigation pipes above ground, uncut grass.

***An Appalling Experience***We booked a five night stay at the apartments through Hotels.com. The apartment complex is situated close to the old walled city - the only plus point.Within hours of booking into the apartments my partner received a phone call stating that her father's cancer treatment had been unsuccessful and that he was being moved to a hospice for 'end of life care.' We immediately booked flights tickets home for the following morning and informed reception. We left the following morning.We contacted Hotels.com assuming that we would receive a refund under these circumstances but were told that the property manager would not approve a refund. Completely outrageous.
