Unique seaside spa
We stayed here as a convenient overnight to get to the fete de Bayonne. It worked well for that—it’s about a 20-min bus ride to Bayonne. We ended up really enjoying this hotel, for the most part. The rooms are spacious, with enough room for our child’s rollout bed. The spa/pool is pretty special with several different kinds of hydrotherapies with warm salt water. Thalazur Saint-Jean de Luz
This hotel is in prime location (on the beach front). It has been renovated a few years back so the facilities (room, gym, pool etc...) are in very good condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed 10 days and had a wonderful stay. The only issue we had was the parking which is an issue. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. We sent multiple emails to the hotel to alter our reservation - we asked for everything from a refund, to moving our travel dates back, to letting our friends stay at the hotel so our money did not go to waste - and we even had our friends who live in St. Jean de Luz go to speak to the hotel the hotel about our unfortunate circumstances that caused us to… Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. The hôtel and Spa are brand knew- high qualty équipement, Nice décoration, very friendly staff everywhere. Two downsides.: noise room on the 1 floor due to a lot of trucks delivering things to the close pedestrian are a early in the morning. Limited choice of food in the main restaurant and also inconsistent quality. There were excellent dishes as well as very average ones.
