I would not recommend this hotel.While the hotel is newly furnished, the rooms are clean, and the location is convenient, the experience lacked basic kindness, compassion, and hospitality.As a traveler, I expect some patience when guests are navigating an unfamiliar place, especially when they may not speak fluent French. The reputation of the man at reception is well earned. He was intimidating and hostile. Any request was met with a sneer or sarcasm. He slouched in his chair with half-lidded eyes, just waiting with a smarmy response. Okay, I’m not marrying the guy, so let’s just check in. He gave us one key and balked when I asked for a second. The hotel’s location is very convenient, and the room itself was well-equipped with good amenities. The breakfast was also enjoyable, and overall I think the hotel offers good value for the price.That said, our experience with the front desk was disappointing. Great hotel and location. Close to bus stop. Petite bayonne on your doorstep. Staff really friendly. Breakfast was good quality. Great location and modern decor
The hotel is in a great central spot whilst the room was quiet. The decor was modern and recently refurbished. Although the window to the shower room was visible from most of the rest of the room.
