Fabulous hotel, very friendly staff and they speak excellent English.We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights as it was the venue for our son's wedding. The location of this establishment is very quiet and not far away from the bustling beach area. The front staff lady a former horse rider carried our heavy luggage with a smile and we felt very welcome. Claire de Lune is close to Biarritz but in contrast-is a peaceful and secluded get away. The main building is very beautiful and has old world charm, the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's the perfect place for travellers who want to relax and have some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle. We loved our time here and look forward to returning. We were lucky to find this beautiful place during our drive down to Spain in august. We stayed at a place five minutes away with a Michelin star restaurant the night before and unfortunately my husband became unwell. Rather than attempt our next day of driving we decided to stay nearby and set off the following day, more refreshed. The hotel is full of charm with a graceful architecture, beautiful grounds with many old and huge trees and a relaxing pool with a lovely view of the mountains.
