    Heated swimming pool

    rating16 Jul 2025

Great place to stay for exploring Normandie. We had a spacious two-bedroom apt with a big balcony - great for families. A well equipped kitchen so that you could prepare your own meals if you wish. The restaurants in the village had strange opening hours, usually only between 19-21 for dinner. The best thing with the hotel was the swimming pool. Since it was heated, we could use it also the days when the weather was a bit cooler. This is an excellent self catering site, close to the town and supermarket. The facilities were spacious, the staff were helpful and friendly. You need to book local restaurants, lovely crepes by the sea. Very close to the WW2 landmarks and museums. Adonis Maisy, Autre at Adonis Grandcamp, responded to this review Good morning,The Adonis team thanks you for this kind comment. We will be happy to see you again.Regards, Stéphanie

Great place, welcoming, clean and spacious.

    rating28 Mar 2024

We came here with a whole group of students. The students had a blast and we all slept very well. The rooms are clean, spacious, quiet, and the women working there were very welcoming and nice. Our tour company had ordered terrible meals but that has nothing to do with Adonis Grandcamp. Those of you complaining about their meals have to talk directly to their tour company. When they saw our students’ frustration (and ours), the owner decided to serve us a wonderful breakfast with ham, cheese, bread, croissants, and much more. I recommend 100%. I would actually love to come back on my own. Adonis Maisy, Autre at Adonis Grandcamp, responded to this review Hello Mrs,Thank you for your kind comment. It was a pleasure meeting you and we will be happy to welcome you again to our establishment.Regards, Stéphanie

    Restful stay

    rating01 Feb 2024

After an early morning departure from London, a 6 hour ferry ride, and another nearly 2 hours of bus from Caen, we arrived at Grandcamp-Maisy quite tired. Our tour director had our room keys available and we headed to find our rooms. It was worth the search. Very large apartment-style room with a modern kitchen, living-room, separate bedroom, and slightly larger than normal bathroom. Very comfortable and attractive. The separate bedroom was a bit small; very little room to maneuver around the bed, but comfortable and manageable for a single occupant. Just a five minute walk to the beach. The Maisy battery, if you're interested in WWII sites, is not too far away, either. Breakfast was the usual buffet-style offerings, but there were plenty of options and all the food was fresh. There was a minimal staff in January, but we managed to do just fine. A very nice place. Adonis Maisy, Autre at Adonis Grandcamp, responded to this review Dear Sir, The whole team thanks you for your kind comment and we are also here to receive both individual customers and groups.Best regardsMarie Chantriaux

Lack of off hours customer support

    rating24 Jul 2023

After whole day travel and delays on our side, we arrived middle of the night at this location, unfortunately, as we tried to call their night customer support, we got lack of support. The person was quite rude and hang up on us then after many many phone calls, our calls NEVER got answered… we went and found another hotel as we could not get in. Awful experience while traveling with 3 kids, rain, middle of the night. The next day, sharing our experience, the management of this place did not show any empathy either. Quite disappointed to travel that far to visit the area to get this type of customer support. Adonis Maisy, Autre at Adonis Grandcamp, responded to this review Madam;Your message is unfounded, like all hotel residences, the schedules are to be respected and the client must telephone before 6 p.m. to announce his late arrival, something you did not do, especially knowing that you were leaving Paris late for Normandy, indeed one does not travel with 3 children without taking security.Best regardsMarie Chantriaux
