We had a reservation at Hotel Plaza in Arles for September 8. We arrived early, around 1:30 p.m., and were told by reception that our room was not ready. We parked the car and went into town, returning around 5 p.m., when we were finally checked in.When we entered the room, it was extremely hot—around 32°C—and the air conditioning was not working. Terrible experience.The welcome was unfriendly but luckily the manager apologised. She was the best thing in the hotel apart from the bed and a good nights sleep.The staff apart from the managed and one other member of staff, were rude, The location is not the centre of the town at all.It's down a rather dilapidated street near the motorway a no d gas none of the charm of the hotels in the centre.… Terrible experience.The welcome was unfriendly but luckily the manager apologised. This is a place that we would gladly have stayed longer. The staff have been very helpful and understanding. The breakfast was very good. The room was both spacious and well-prepared. There are many details that they have done a great job with, both in the design and the maintenance of the property. The rooms are nice and big and were very clean. The service by the staff was good and were able to help with information of the area. The parking was free and at the hotel. to get into the hotel just push the button on the intercom on the left side of the gate and they will let you in. a little pricey for the breakfast.The rooms are nice and big and were very clean. This is a really nice hotel that is not in the most convenient location. More importantly, there is a super nice staff (helpful and professional), rooms of sufficient size with comfortable beds and all the standard amenities.
