Room had a good outlook, and overall location quite good. Bedding comfortable. Major disappointment in breakfast - not only did we have to go to another building and try to find it, the food was very very very average and disappointing. Not good really, more basic than you think

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of the Santa package. I was aware this was going to be 2 star basic, we were ready for that, but I feel what we really encountered was probably worse.Spread across various blocks and buildings, we were set quite a way from the main building, but that wasn’t an issue. I have no problem with ‘basic’ but ‘basic’ would be a compliment for this hotel. The most disappointing aspect is the food; the worst food I’ve ever experienced at any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s like prison food, and the ‘restaurant’ - if that’s what you can call it - resembles something from a Victorian Workhouse.
