It's reasonably nice and in a great location but basic stuff didn't work at this hotel. Calling room service or the front desk got no answer so I had to go down to the first floor every time. The hot tub was not hot despite two attempts by the hotel to fix the issue. The room key cards did not work, despite their reissuing them to me four times, and the part on the door had to be replaced. We stayed here for one night to explore Santo Domingo. The hotel is in the perfect location . We loved the service and our room was beautiful. We were on the first floor so we had very high ceilings and a little outdoor courtyard. We enjoyed the welcome drink and sitting at the pool watching the sunset. Beautiful and cozy hotel in a great location. The staff are amazing, always willing to help with everything that you need, they made feel as I was at home.Breakfast was delicious and varied. DONT STAY HERE WHEN THERE IS A WEDDING IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BOUTIQUE HOTEL EXPERIENCE AND A QUIET STAY.

So far staff are great and room is clean but there is a dull loud noise and screams coming from a wedding party just beginning.I've stayed in a BH Hotel in the colonial zone in Bogota and it was good. So why not try in SD for my birthday knowing location.But already it is ruined by noise.We can't enjoy a meal in the restaurant for all the wedding revellers and it's not their problem.
