The resort has a reception desk and features 516 rooms. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided to guests. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a babysitting service (for a fee), medical assistance, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a page service. A projector is on hand for guests' business and communication needs. 5 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

The welcoming & very pleasant staff is what made our experience great ! The one person who we must recognize was our concierge LUCY . She is an amazing soul , absolutely lovely . Anything we needed she directed us , assisted us and made sure everyday was enjoyable . Let’s say she went ABOVE & BEYOND . We had a great time here. Was our third time at Puerto Plata, but our first time at the Iberostar Waves and they did not disappoint. Great location, was not that fare from the airport and Puerto Plata city was close as well. The food was great. Lots of selection and everyday there was something new. Traveled with my teenage daughter and husband and we had a great time. From the food to the property we had no complaints. Everyone was really nice and helpful. We were especially grateful to our concierge Starling who was amazing. He helped us with dinner reservations and recommended things to do. He was very friendly & really helpful to us our entire trip. First off, we travelled Air Transat Vacations so our experience may be different than those booking directly.
