Fresh and clean budget friendly hotel - good value for money

Excellent location in downtown Aalborg close to the railway- and bus station, Main Street, and water. Also nearby is the Friis Shopping Center that is the next building next from the hotel. Nearby is also huge supermarket Føtex. I stayed for one night in a standard room that I only booked a couple of days prior but nevertheless got a very attractive rate when booking via the official CABINN hotels website. The hotel is quite large with up to 300 rooms if I'm not mistaken and it was quite busy upon my arrival with a lot of guests since it was on a weekend but the atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly in the reception during both check in and later in the hotel bar.The room was impeccable clean and everything was whole and working. The WiFi had a good strong signal and the TV worked well also. There is a kettle with cups and tea and coffee in the room too.One thing where there is room for improvement is the shower whose faucet was really sensitive and as it was on the same pipe as the sink and the bathroom is quite small one risk being soaked from the shower when only intending to use the sink, so perhaps it can be adjusted to be less sensitive or have a better signage. Over all I really liked this hotel and consider that it is good value for money and I can really recommend it when visiting Aalborg in Denmark.

The service was good, the rooms where just okay. Exactly what I expected and I’m reasonably pleased. Bathrooms were small but practical. The madrass was not of a high standard but I’m eighteen so does not matter to me.This Hotel has two massive upsides. The placement of the hotel (very central).And the price, can’t complain.To summarize it fits its purpose. Cheap and does its job.

Did not expect a luxury suite but a good bed,a clean room and a nice shower.The room was poorly cleaned,and the shower such an integral part of the bathroom that there was no room to maneuver at all. Soap was a dried up piece of chalk,so bring your own. Informed the front desk about the cob webs and the grimy toilet and they took note,and promised me a refund on my parking fee. Which so far has not materialized.

Budget rooms, to small for my taste.website pictures of rooms looks bigger then in real life. Next time i would pay a bit more and find a better hotel in the area.got a view on parkinggarage. Beds needs to have better mattresses. Not recommended.

Stayed in a Commodore room on my own. This has a small bathroom with shower and two single beds.a good view from the window which also opened. Security was good with a card needed to get onto my extended landing and a card to get into my room. The hotel was quiet and I had enough pillows by using those from the other bed to support my ageing joints and back.Breakfast was fine with scrambled egg, chicken sausages, cheese and bacon. I brought my own gluten free bread but was offered some from the hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a TV in my room with limited channels but enough english to pick up the news etc. WiFi was good. Apart from rather spartan corridors and stairwells there was little difference between this and an expensive hotel apart from the vastly superior cheaper price. I will use this chain again. Position was good in the city as well. Bus from airport and a few minutes walk. Most people speak english and are most helpful. A delightful country and people.
