This historic hotel is a luxurious Art Deco property situated in the heart of Prague city centre, just a few steps from the Municipal House and a short walk from Wenceslas Square, the Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. All major cultural and commercial sites are within an easy walking distance and many stylish shops, bars and restaurants can be found in the vicinity. The nearest metro and tram station is Republiky, only 100 m away. Prague/Ruzyně International Airport is 15 km away.

The hotel was built in 1914. The hotel has 126 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library.     I have stayed at the Art Deco Imperial Hotel many times, and every time I return, I feel like coming to a very special place. The hotel has a stylish and elegant interior. The ambience is bright and most welcoming. Everyone, from the public area cleaner to senior management, is smiling and attentive. The cleanliness is impeccable. The Front Desk and Concierge staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and exceptionally helpful, and I never miss the chance to talk to them whenever I have a question.     We had a lovely time in this Magnificent Art Deco Hotel. Our Room and the Bed was very comfortable, we had no fault with the Room. Very clean with lots of staff, to help. Breakfast was okay nothing special, could be a bit hectic at certain times of the morning. It's in a good position to the city centre only minutes walk into it. Near by are some good restaurants. Only criticism is the Bar area doesn't look that inviting. It's just needs an injection of colour, with perhaps better lighting , then spill over into the Reception area, will put this onto a different league. I recently went to Vienna, to a similar style Hotel " Art Deco" but they got the ambience right with jewel colours in the public areas, this Hotel could be even better with just a few weeks. Otherwise, this hotel is lovely, would I go back again to it, probably.     We spent 4 wonderful days in Prague. Our corner room was fabulous- beautifully decorated and comfortable. Check-in was quick and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. The concierge helped us book a tour and dinner one night. The breakfast buffet was delicious, although dishes for popular items were frequently empty for long periods.
