22 single rooms and 87 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas.     Rooms are too noisy with loud music from restaurant

    Stayed in the hotel for two nights and was not happy about it. The room is small and was located just above their restaurant- the monkey bar. Based upon earlier reviews, we asked the reception during check-in to provide a quieter room as we are light sleepers. He confirmed that the room provided was far from noise, but then we realized that it was right above their restaurant. On Saturday they have a live DJ and we could not sleep the full night. Was not happy about it and when asked to be moved, the response that all other rooms are much smaller than the current one. Already our room was small so was not sure how smaller the rooms can get.     Fabulous! Everything about his hotel was as described and advertised, and really hit the mark. Great location. We had a huge room with views over the park / train station. Friendly teams, loved the mulled wine station at reception. Love the pillow menu and option to request a hot water bottle, nice touch! Sauna area super chilled and made easy to use thanks to the robes / slippers in the room. Highly recommend. 5 stars! A great break to celebrate new years.     Hotel is in a good location and most likely thats what is only good for.We are disappointed becaus this hotel is far from 5 stats rating even though price per night quite steep and other reviews were far more positive.First things first, rooms are small, halls are screaming for remodeling, the bathroom floor is not heated, sink is very small so every time you’re washing ur hands/face u will be spilling everywhere.Sheets and pillows for a hotel rated as 5 star is disappointment. Uncomfy, cheap and worn already.Breakfast is poor most of the food you can only order through menu, and the quality is far from what you expect for 5 star hotel.Otherwise, as mentioned location is very good and convenient, interior is quite modern and clean Claudio Sturm, General Manager at Falkensteiner Hotel Prague, responded to this review Dear Povilas,hank you for your candid feedback.     We were very happy with our modern, clean spacious room. As soon as you walk into the hotel it feels clean and fresh. They were the good points! So we stayed for 3 nights. The first night the Monkey Bar was closed due to a private function?! I felt this was very poor as we had specifically booked this hotel as it had a hotel bar to go back and have a late night drink. We were told we could have a drink in our room! We did not want to do that. They offer 2 for 1 cocktails for residents for one hour but of course you cannot take advantage of that offer if the bar is closed to hotel guests! We also felt the breakfast was very poor. We had seen all the reviews about how good the breakfast was but we do not agree. The first morning we had the an avocado toast and poached eggs. The eggs were almost raw and slimy but we did get the cappuccinos we asked for that day! The second day the pastries had run out and were not refilled. We asked for cappuccinos and after 45 minutes had still not received them. The third day it was so busy but full of tables just covered in dirty plates that no one had cleared away. There was a huge lack of staff present. Again waited 25 minutes for our coffees. Someone on the table next to us complained about the length of time the coffee was taking and was told to go and use the machine if they didn’t like it! It was not the experience we had expected.     Extremely disappointed. This is more like a youth hostel than a 4 star hotel. Way over priced for the style.As you enter, Plastic plants everywhere. Loud music from the Hostel style "Monkey Bar".So if your in Prague on business, or value a quiet atmosphere, do not book any room in the back side of the hotel which are all directly over the bar/disco/club.Receptionist Desk was situated in a far away corner. Most likely because they don't want to be disturbed by the guests. " Spa" consisted of 2 saunas and a shower. was clean but also quite basic.Prague has some great hotels and good value. Unfortunately, the Falkensteiner is not a good value for money.
