Situated in the centre of Prague in the historical part of the town, overlooking the famous bridge, close to Prague Castle, the hotel enjoys a great location. All major points of interest are within walking distance. It is only to 500 m from the Museum Kampa and about a 3-minute walk from the Old Town.

English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Great little hotel right near the Charles Bridge. Staff very helpful, good breakfast and also AC in the room which is a big plus.

    Fantastic location, just below the Charles bridge. Situated in a lovely little square with a lovely bistro opposite and riverside restaurants. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 25 and there is an issue with the Aircon dripping even with a note in the room not to adjust the settings. It was quite bad the first night so we reported it and the on call staff did as much as she could to help. The rooms are beautiful and we have the perfect riverside view. The only problem I had was the hairdryer only seems to work in 60 second spouts and then you have to leave 2-3 mins before going again. The breakfast selection was superb and overall we would 100% stay here again.

    The Service: Lovely. Every person we met who worked for the hotel was polite, kind, and helpful. Communication prior to our arrival was quick and clear. Housekeeping took excellent care of us and our room. The first night, the front desk clerk's recommendation led to the best dinner of our trip.The Location: Can’t be beat. Located on the west side of the Charles Bridge, The Archibald is steps away from the stairs up to the Charles Bridge. From here, you can walk to Old Town, Lesser Town, the Castle, the Lennon Wall, and several charming parks including the one right out the front door. The back of the hotel looks over the river toward Old Town. If you’re a photographer, you could spend a full day on a back porch capturing the changing light!The Space: The breakfast room in the lower level under a cross arched ceiling with natural light from the high windows. Cushioned armchairs in the entry space allow visitors to wait for taxis - or family/friends - in comfort. Carpeted hallways keep noise to a minimum. The design of our room had a small entry near the bathroom with the bedroom following, an additional barrier against the non-existent hall noise. Despite looking over the public tree covered square, the windows blocked nearly all noise during the day if closed and let in a pleasant breeze when open. Meanwhile, there was little to no noise at night. AC in the room worked well while the ceiling fan was all that was needed most of our stay. The room included a good sized table for writing and dining, a couch/futon, kettle, and fridge. The bed was comfortable. A back porch/balcony for everyone to share provided a charming view of the river. We recommend the Archibald at the Charles to anyone who wants to easily access all the tourist parts of Prague and enjoy comfortable surroundings in the evenings.     So convenient, quiet & charming! The Perfect choice for a Prague city break!

    This hotel was recommended to us by a friend and was the perfect choice for our stay in Prague! The best thing about it is the location, literally at the end of the Charles Bridge (on the Lesser Town side rather than the Old Town side which is manically busy). Set in a delightfully quiet square considering its proximity to the city centre, near a lovely park and right by the river and so close to everything you need. It was good value for money, the breakfast had an ample selection of continental options, fruit, yoghurt, cereal, pastries etc, they even offer a free brunch of soup and sandwiches if you happen to be passing the hotel again in the middle of the day. Rooms were clean and a great size, with traditional furniture and very large, firm comfortable beds. At the end of the day you don't spend much time in your hotel on a city break but this was a perfect option in all aspects. We were also able to leave our luggage before check in and after check out.
