Location

This hotel is situated in quiet surroundings with a view of the city. Mariánské Lázně is a famous central European spa town, just 12 km away from the Czech border with Germany. With more than 40 mineral springs, beautiful Art Nouveau architecture, the historical Mariánské Lázně colonnades and marvellous natural scenic views, it has been attracting visitors for over 2 centuries. Visitors have included famous names as Goethe, Strauss, Kafka, Kipling, Nobel and many more. The English King Edward VII visited the city nine times. Today, Mariánské Lázně is a town pulsating with a rich cultural heritage as well as offering sporting events. The hotel lies some 300 m from the nearest links to the public transport network and the city centre and around 500 m from the nearest restaurants and bars and the main street shops. Attractions such as Castle Kynžvart (around 15 minutes’ drive) and Bečov Castle (approximately 30 minutes' drive) are not far.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1911. Guests have a choice of 19 junior suites, 6 suites, 2 single rooms and 63 double rooms located in a 5-storey main building and a 4-storey auxiliary building. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Sport

Going for a swim at the pool complex, which includes indoor and outdoor areas, is a great way to relax (for a fee). Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub (for a fee) offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. A variety of activities are available at the hotel, for example cycling/mountain biking, a putting green and fishing or, for a fee, tennis, volleyball, crazy golf, golf and horse riding. The hotel's location is particularly ideal for skiers.
