Food was terrible and the same slop everyday. Elevators didn't work for the first 3 days, we were on the 5th floor. When they said they were working, very sketchy, did not feel safe. Place was extremely dirty, hallways weren't washed in months by the looks of thinks. Staff was ok but nothing special. Alcohol was bare bones, bottom of the barrel rum. Again, food was disgusting.Food was terrible and the same slop everyday. Elevators didn't work for the first 3 days, we were on the 5th floor. As usual, our trip to Villa Cuba was awesome. The staff are fabulous. The food was good and lots of it. Our maid was excellent. I want to send a special thank you to two people at Public Relations. They are Madelyn and Dania. They made our trip even more enjoyable, if that’s even possible. We love this hotel and have been staying here when we’re in cuba for many, many years. Great little quiet resort! Everything very close by! The beach is amazing! Staff very friendly! The food was a lot tastier than when I was in Cuba a few years ago. Bottled water no shortage. The maid La Mora went over And beyond to make our stay comfortable. Her creativity put smiles on our faceeach day we walked in the room and seen her art!! I love this place. The staff is soooo friendly and go out of there way to make everyone's stay the best it would be. From the management all the way to the gardeners. Perfect little Gem I have stayed at many hotels in Varadero and this is now my New Favourite.
