  Beautiful Location

  Stayed at Hotel Berulia for 10 days in June.It’s a really lovely hotel and we had a room overlooking the sea. The hotel is very clean and is in a beautiful location. Lovely clear water and a nice temperature for swimming. Beach shoes are recommended due to pebbles (no sand) There are little towns to either sides of the hotel (15 minute walk)offering lots of bars/restaurants. As others have said, there are many steps to take you down to the beach, so families with buggies beware. Overall it was a lovely stay in a beautiful location. My only disappointment is that you have to pay €5 for a bottle of water at the hotel. For a five star hotel I would expect a small bottle of complimentary water per guest, every day.Also having to pay for sun loungers and umbrellas on the hotel grounds in a five star hotel doesn’t feel right to me. Yes sure… maybe on the beaches. We have stayed in lots of 5 star hotels and these services have been complimentary. (IKOS Resorts for example) I would recommend this hotel to others, but feel I have to remove 1 star for not quite hitting the mark.Water is essential in 35C, and lots of it.I did feel ripped off regarding the water situation.   Great Holiday and great location

  Coming to the end of a great week in Croatia. If you are looking to book a holiday at this hotel, check with your tour operator which building you are booking into. There is a 4 star Annex attached to the 5 star hotel, I enquired into moving into the main part of the hotel and it would have cost an extra €100 per night, so check what your paying (nothing wrong with Annex building). Also consider what board you are going with. We went bed & breakfast, there are two harbours within 5 minute walk from the hotel with loads of restaurants and very reasonable prices (€50 for meal for 2 with drinks). There are also a number of beach bars within a 2 minute walk of the hotel, which are worth a drink while watching the sun set.Hotel facilities are great and the beach fabulous.   Great hotel, lota od natural shade and great pool

  The food is great. Facilities as well. Infinity pool looks amazing. It was our second time here and we will probably return very soon. One thing is missing from the breakfast and that is freshly squeezed orange juice. I believe it is a must for a real 5 star hotel.   Beautiful location and a very relaxing stay

  The location is stunning. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Dinner service was a bit hectic, but the food was good. The evening music was a bit intrusive every night, but mostly as my room was near to the pool bar. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable with lovely bathroom facilities. If I was being picky, a few more hooks in the bathroom would be helpful, and fresh water every day would be a nice touch.   Nice hotel & very clean.There is a lot of steps around the hotel so beware if you have difficultys. Staff are very pleasant & go beyond to make your stay pleasant. Evening dinner could be longer, 7 till 9 seemed a bit rushed but we soon adapted.Downside was price of drinks, apple juice was 5 euro & a small beer was 5 euro. But overall a great location with stunning views. The coastline is amazing & a stroll into either town was nice. Would visit again.
