    Find Some Place Else

    rating13 Nov 2025

The carpet in the room is filthy. There was a dirty case on one of the pillows. The maid did not replenish used tea bags or sugar. When I went down early to ask for some I was told I was being charged 3 Euro for a tea bag and two packs of sugar. I made my own tea. The shower is poorly constructed and floods the entire bathroom. I had to engineer a dam out of the bathmat so I wouldn't slip and break something while brushing my teeth.

Horrendous - unless you want to get bit by mosquitoes and inhale smoke

    rating11 Nov 2025

Absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed at in the last 50 years.Infested with mosquitoes and the smoke from the casino was in the rooms as high as the 5th floor. Spent 2 horrendous nights there. Everyone was all bit up after the first night. When we got back to the hotel for the second night there were blood stains all over the walls as they had someone kill the mosquitoes. Who knows what these bugs were carrying. People had very swollen parts of their body, I had multiple bites on my face and hands. The only hotel staff, 1 man, told us that mosquitoes was no reason to change our room, as we stood at the desk with bites on our face. He said he had no authority..... We later heard that the hotel had a bed bug problem, fumigated the place, and opened all the windows to air the place out, and that is how the mosquitoes got in. The air conditioning in the entire hotel had been turned off for the winter so we were not able to use it to stop them from flying. Stay clear....!!!!!

Very friendly staff and cosy spacious rooms. We stayed with our dogs and they were very welcome. It’s also easy to have a walk with them. Very good location

Great location by the sea but room for improvement

    rating19 Aug 2025

This was our second stay at Hotel Paris.Rooms are small but well designed, with cozy lighting that makes them feel comfortable. The bathroom is large, but not very practical: there’s nowhere to put your toiletries, even though there’s clearly space for a shelf or a surface. There is also a window between the bathroom and the bedroom, but the curtain is placed on the bedroom side, which doesn’t make much sense. The main issue is the air conditioning. It runs on restricted settings, meaning reception has some control over it. On our first night, we had to wake up four times to turn it back on. The next morning we went to reception, and they told us it was in eco mode, which turns the system off once the target temperature is reached. After that, they switched it to the full mode and it worked better. Still, the AC stops whenever the door or a window is opened (even slightly, for example when adjusting the blinds), and you have to restart it manually. The window has to be fully shut (even a 1-cm gap prevents it from running). When set to a temperature, it tends to blast cold air until it gets there and then cut off instead of maintaining a steady level, so you can feel either too cold or too warm.Housekeeping staff are very friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciated.Breakfast has improved compared to last year, with a decent coffee machine, more variety, and better overall quality. The dinner buffet, some nights it’s excellent, other nights the options are quite limited. I’d suggest having a quick look at the buffet first before sitting down, as it really changes from one evening to another. They have an indoor parking, but it’s small, and the hotel often asks guests to park in front of other cars, blocking the lot. You have to leave your key so they can move your car when needed. During the day this is handled by a professional, but after working hours it’s the reception staff who move the cars. We didn’t experience any issue with our SUV, though. The hotel offers good value for money, with an excellent location by the sea, right in front of a park and just a five-minute walk to the shore for swimming. Prices were higher this year and, honestly, if it ever matches the price of nearby hotels, we’ll probably try another place next year.
