Location ok for a small town. Hotel is tired and rooms are small. Not my choice as we were with a tour. This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the shoreline promenade. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from close by. The A/C in the room was not working. With the heavy blanket, it got a little warm even in early May. The glass door at the shower only covers half the width of the stall, with water splashing all over floor. We stayed here with our tour group so we actually had no choice . We would reflect to our tour company that this was not our usual choice of hotels for the same tour company! In fact I was reading the hotel official photos from Tripadvisor while I was in my super small room and I thought I was looking at the WRONG hotel, because the photos were totally different from reality! This hotel is obviously older than most. And they don’t offer a lot of services. As an example no iron or earning board, but they’ll gladly charge you Frito iron your clothes. I don’t have any electric fans. We are here during the time when they only have the heat on which was in May, so even though it was warm in the room, I couldn’t turn the air conditioning on. We have stayed at Hotel Bristol in Opatija several times, and it continues to be a very nice hotel in a central location.Both the breakfast and dinner are excellent, with good quality and selection.
