3-star hotel - perfect when you are on a budget

    rating07 Aug 2025

I don't understand all the naysayers. Why do they expect a five-star experience from a three-star hotel? They should go elsewhere and pay 3x more per night, and then they wouldn't have to complain. We received a sea-view balcony suite that consisted of two rooms: one with a double bed and the other with a sofa bed. We got clean bed linen, clean towels, there was a bathroom where we could wash up, and there was air conditioning and internet. There was also a small fridge. The only negative was the too-hard mattress. As for those who find fault with the food, they are intentionally being difficult. There was a huge selection for both breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, there were eight types of bread, pastries, boiled, fried, and sunny-side-up eggs, sausages, at least six types of cold cuts, various cheeses, cereals, seeds, dressings, sauces, various vegetables and fruits, sweets, and desserts. Salads, biscuits, and so on. Cold and hot drinks, including alcoholic ones.Dinner was similarly abundant: there were recurring dishes every day, and something new every day. Savory and sweet hot dishes, fruits, salads, fish, pork and poultry dishes, pizzas for children, various pies, pâtés, various types of bread, rice prepared in various ways, cheeses, biscuits, cakes, and ice cream. Anyone who couldn't find anything to their liking among these options simply eats poorly! For lunch, we received a sandwich and a slice of cake per person, which was more than enough between the abundant breakfast and dinner. We always found sun loungers around the pool, and there's a section fenced off for children. The only negative was that the pool water was very cold. The parking is 1.5 euros per day, but it's guarded. There are indeed many stairs, but an average person should be in good enough condition to climb 2-3 floors by stairs. However, our room was indeed on the 2nd floor which was available by elevator. So that is not true that the hotel has no elevators at all. There isn't much public transport, but a small train departs 3 minutes from the hotel and takes you into Poreč city center. There's also a small shop not far from the hotel, and we could bring some drinks and snacks to our room.We were very satisfied. The management and reception were very kind and helpful. Thank you for everything!

no elevator, dont travel bere with baby

    rating02 Jul 2025

there is no elevator. exactly 150 steps if you are on the first floor, if you are higher count 50 additional steps. On foot, with all luggage and a strollerDo not travel to this hotel with a baby. The beach is 4 minutes away, although you are very close, you cannot leave the room with a stroller because there is no exit from the hotel without at least 50 steps in between.

    rating23 Oct 2024

As dinner and breakfest were included with basic drinks price was OK. Room very clean. Good location near sea. Bad things. Hotel is old and needs reconstruction. Main elevater did not work when we stayed. Tv better that you don t turn on because picture resolution is like from 50s. Furniture in rooms old and half of it is broken

Surprisingly good location and hotel overall

    rating29 Jul 2024

The hotel has a great location. There is a medium sized pool, sunbeds (there could be more of them but there's no room) and umbrellas and a few big beds for the whole family to lay on. You have to be quick to get them though they go fast. The staff is wonderful, very nice and attentive. Food was surprisingly good and tasty, lots of varieties and me being a vegetarian and not eating gluten, I was so surprised that every morning they provided fresh gluten free bread, various plant based milks as well. At dinner I got gluten free and vegan desert brought to me to our table every evening which I thought was very special, since I didn't even ask for it. On our first day our room was not ready and clean for us which we told the reception and the cleaning lady came and generally cleaned it quickly. She forgot to bring fresh linen for our daughter's couch and we had to ask for it 4 times but we quickly forgot about that. The bedroom was seperate from the living room which we liked a lot since our 8 year old was with us and we had some privacy when needed. We had a small balcony you could enter from the bedroom and the little living room. There could be a small fridge in the living room, we missed it... The hotel is not so modern but extremely clean. The bathroom needs a renovation but was very clean every day. We had an issue with the ac, it didn't work properly and we told the reception and they fixed it the next day. The surroundings are very well maintained and the tall palm trees give this place a very vacation like feeling. Overall we would definitely recommend this hotel because it had a lot of value for the price we payed. Entertainment was available every day, for adults and kids, on the beach kids had their disco, we even watched a kids movie on the big screen. A store is a few steps away down the stairs. We didn't mind the stairs at all since we were so lazy and this little bit of exercise was very welcome. A few restaurants, shops for souvenirs within a few minutes walk... At this point we would like to thank the hotel for our wonderful stay!
