We had an amazing stay at Wyndham Tamarindo. The hotel is stunning, and the infinity pool was one of our favorite parts — it’s just incredible. I would def stay here again. Location is 4 minutes from the town and hotel offers a free shuttle. Also - you have access to a beach/pool club that is 6 minutes away with the shuttle, which also has a gym. Beautiful views, great service, and delicious food. The atmosphere was very relaxing, and we were really happy with the selection. The hotel also has an assigned beach club, which is very, very good. Wyndham Tamarindo 2.5Warched a YouTube video of man who definitely oversold the Wyndham. Room looks like a holiday inn. It was clean and basic. We didn’t have wash cloths in our room upon arrival and there was as dirty cup in the bathroom sink. There is no complimentary water or robes. The hotel is relaxing and fairly quiet, respectful guest. The views, pool, staff and restaurant were amazing!! Knocking stars due to the maintenance of the rooms. When we checked it into our room it was in such poor condition we went directly to the front desk to change rooms. The curtains were a mess, lights burnt out and the toilet paper holder fell off the wall immediately.
