About Hotel HeliconiaThe hotel is located in Monteverde in the region of Puntarenas, one of the few places in the world, where the famous "Bosques Nubosos", forests cloaked in cloud, still remain. It is home to a host of rare species of bird such as quetzals and campanas, as well a many other rare types of animals.
Guests have a choice of 51 rooms, including 26 junior suites and 19 double rooms, located in a 2-storey main building and 5 auxiliary buildings. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.
