Award reservation cancelled after flight delays despite notifying hotel

Due to my flight being delayed four times out of my control, I notified the hotel in advance of my late check-in. Clean and nice hotel but lacked character

Hotel was clean. Room was clean and as expected. Drain in shower was not good. Had to ask for more coffee packets everyday. No free coffee in lobby. Lobby/bar area lacked any social comfort. Pool bar area was nice but it seemed like every time we wanted another drink or to pay, we had to wait for bartender to show up again. Except Hawin, he did a good job. The hotel is stunning elegant, clean, and very well-maintained. The rooms were beautiful and extremely comfortable, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable.The staff was always respectful and friendly, especially in the restaurant area. I stayed at the hotel while travelling in Santa Marta with my family. As a tourist, I didn’t have any idea of places to stay.
