The resort is located on a hill in the traditional sector of San Luis, surrounded by nature and the homes of the native inhabitants of the island. The centre of San Luis, with its restaurants, bars and nightlife, is approximately 4 km from the hotel. The beach is just 200 m from the hotel, Morgan's Cave is around 2 km away, and the natural lagoon is around 1.5 km away.

Realize you are on an island lost in time. American standard quality simply is not there. I wanted to give this place a 1 star at first. but in the end I nearly opted 5. In the end the food drove it down. The island is full of run down hotels and houses and places long past their prime. We've vacationed on San Andres for over 16 years, many years multiple times but, it has declined in quality in every respect to the point we will never return.The people have taken on a very negative attitude toward all tourists, not just us. I really enjoyed my stay in San Andrés, mainly the hotel service was excellent, all the staff were very friendly, and the weekend events in the hotel were very funny. The hotel is fare away from the down center of San Andres and for that reason it has a private beach. I liked very much every breakfast and lobsters at lunch. I recommend this Hotel for your family. My parents stayed at this hotel and they were disappointed. While the hotel is an average ok, the food is well below average, the buffet serves the same food almost everyday and the fruits on display are just that, FOR DISPLAY ONLY. I don't think the owner has ever eaten in the hotel's buffet, if he or she does, either one will be in for a negative surprise.
