  Beautiful location but text book example of how NOT to run a hotel

  This hotel is located on the best beach of the island. It has a nice structure and a very good chef in the kitchen. Unfortunately it is a text book example of how NOT to run a hotel. The receptionist is just about the unfriendliest person on earth who does not know how to smile or great.   Our expectations were definitely different. The photos presented in the description of the hotel should be renewed immediately because the deterioration in which the hotel is found, is not observed in what Expedia sells.   I booked the hotel, but the borders were closed to foreign people due the pandemic. It was not a free cancelation policy, i know, but even considering the unrealistic reason why we did not could arrive at the place, they ignore any contact and have never proposed any alternative that could satisfy both sides.   This place is pure dissaater! All pictures on their web site are FAKE, made by computer and filters! Its run down, terrible dirty, very poorly managed place with terrible food, lazy staff and total neglicence!   I should have listened to the poor reviews. We showed up a little early, around 1pm. We were told check in wasn't until 3pm on the dot. We waited until 3pm and went back to the front desk where we were told our room wasn't ready. The hotel was mostly empty mind you. We had to wait another 30 minutes while they cleaned our room.
