The hotel has 170 rooms, including 7 suites, 28 single rooms and 133 double rooms, which are located on 8 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The staff was nice but the hotel is simply falling apart. Part of celling is collapsed in many places. there is cracks, sone 3/4 inch wide in the structure of the stairs. I was afraid for my safety. Like many buildings in San Andrés it is just poorly maintained when not abandoned. The check in took an eternity and no other options, nor something to eat/drink while we waited.I am still waiting for my room and losing precious time of my vacations at a waiting room.Out of all hotels we have been to, this check in experience has been the worst. I have been in many places in Colombia. It was the first time we went to San Andres. This hotel is well located and we got a nice view! The rest, unfortunately, was not a good experience. The smell as soon as you enter is awful. The room has also a bad odour of mold! They need to do a major renovation starting with the control of the mold and humidity in the rooms. This hotel hires bigoted homophobic staff and does not defend or protect their guests. My fiance and I were discriminated against by their security guards for kissing at the pool and told to leave and “think of the children” for being inappropriate.
