  Amazing hotel! The team who works there is super friendly, the food is fantastic and the amenities are great. I would never stay at any other hotel in San Andres.

  Definite top choice in San Andrés Island!

  After extensive research, we booked Aquamare and can confidently say it ranks among the best hotels in San Andrés. The facilities are absolutely impeccable. Both the rooms and common areas are extremely clean, and the staff is attentive, friendly, and professional. Special thanks to Mishell, who helped us with a room change at check-in and was incredibly supportive throughout our week-long stay.Breakfast is outstanding, with an impressive variety. No exaggeration — you could practically have lunch during breakfast. In addition to the usual breakfast items (breads, fruits, yogurts, waffles, cereals, eggs), Aquamare also offers salads and hot proteins like shredded beef and chicken rolls. All of this is served with a stunning view of El Acuario and the beautiful Caribbean Sea.The pool is excellent — perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or a boat tour, with full service from the waitstaff available in the pool area.Our room (with an interior view of the hotel’s atrium) was a good size, with a very comfortable queen-size bed. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had great water pressure and hot water. It’s worth noting that the shower area has no door — we were told this is standard in all rooms due to a past incident involving glass doors.The location is a 10/10. The only transportation we needed was to and from the airport. Beaches are within walking distance, as are departure points for boat tours — all under 10 minutes away on foot. Even the golf cart ("mule") we rented was delivered directly to the hotel entrance.   Fantastic Hotel and Superb Staff.

  We spent five nights are this hotels and ate all of our meals there. We enjoyed every aspect and found the service to be excellent. We had a good experience checking in and the chambermaids were fantastic. Ricoberto at the Varka gave us superb service and was so pleasant. We encountered no problems and were very much confused by some of the other reviews. The towels were good, the staff could not have been more helpful and extremely kind. We were there with another couple who work with us and they too had a marvellous stay. We enjoyed the Island and thought the hotel was a perfect choice. Hence if you are on the Island, we strongly recommend this property.
