Terrible customer service for Gold member
Terrible customer service. I needed a conference room for an important meeting. I went to the hotel desk the night before to book a conference room. They never got back to me and when I called they said, come in and it will be no problem. But when I arrived, they didn’t have the room ready, charged me an outrageous price to use the room and didn’t seem to care at all. Front desk was understaffed.… Terrible customer service. Mediocre Medellín Marriott
Just a mediocre hotel that isn’t really worthy of the Marriott brand. The hotel hallways are dark, towels are thin and scratchy, and the lobby is uninspired. Whatever you do, avoid eating here. The hotel food is ridiculously overpriced. Crepes and Waffles is a nine minute walk away and Alambique is an excellent restaurant at about a 15 minute walk. The hotel is well located in the leafy El Poblado neighbourhood. It's about a 20min walk to the metro station and 15mins to the Parque de El Poblado where a lot of tours start and finish.
