Great location close to a shopping mall, public transportation is not to far. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms were great, comfortable beds, clean, and water bottle was replenished daily. Evening drinks at the bar were fantastic as was the morning breakfast. Stayed here for 5 nights. Everyone we dealt with was awesome. They all tried their English with us and we were able to communicate well. I have food allergies and the chef came personally to talk with me and prepared lovely GF food for my breakfast!! The hotel was a bit noisy on the weekend but fine after that. The Portón Medellín is less than a 5 minute walk away from the Santa Fe Mall, which is massive. Upon first glance of the room, you can tell that the hotel is a quick fixer upper. Second stay at this hotel, great staff nice rooms. The updated room I stayed in on second visit was very nice. The location to the big malls which were a short walk away was nice.
