    My stay at Sofitel Baru was exceptional in many ways. I truly appreciated the attention to detail from Lila, who went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday and made the experience feel incredibly personal.I also want to highlight Denis, whose graciousness stood out throughout my stay. She greeted me by name each morning, remembered exactly what I liked to drink with breakfast, and even surprised me with a beautiful gift representing Colombia. It was thoughtful, unexpected, and deeply appreciated.The property itself is stunning and expansive, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind. I paid for an upgrade to a suite overlooking the beach, and it was absolutely worth it — the view and the jacuzzi tub made the stay feel even more special.Dinner at Humo was another memorable moment. The chef personally presented one of the dishes to me, which made the experience feel unique and truly special.One thing I didn’t appreciate, however, was arriving for the scheduled coffee tasting only to find out it had been canceled without any prior notice. A simple heads-up would have made a big difference.Overall, despite that hiccup, my stay was filled with warmth, luxury, and genuine hospitality. I look forward to returning.     Amazing getaway with beautiful scenery

    Amazing place for a couple’s getaway. Although families and pets seemed to be having a blast too. Diego, our waiter at Calablanca was very attentive and helpful. The rest of the staff was also amazing. Loved every moment of our stay.
