This is a Radisson you would have thought was the Aman in NYC. Stopped by to check it out while in Cartagena ( for my next stay ) and have a drink at the bar. The door was as far as I got. Apparently wearing a Tshirt and sneakers 200 yards from the beach is enough to stop you gaining entry even if, like me, you run a company. Needless to say I won’t make that my next Cartagena hotel stay. GEREN… This is a Radisson you would have thought was the Aman in NYC. This is a very nice hotel in Cartagena. The location is a couple miles from the walled city - you may have to take a cab. But there are several eating establishments and souvenir shops nearby. The hotel itself is very nice. It is clean and has air conditioning which you'll appreciate because Cartagena is hot. The rooms are spacious with lots of room to spread out. Cartagena is a beautiful place lots of great food and sites to see. Make sure you check out the Emerald Museum and chocolate museum. Our stay at this hotel was incredible! My husband and I came to celebrate our honeymoon and my birthday! Our room was decorated with rose petals and balloons upon our arrival, and a gift was waiting for us. I was congratulated with a cake and candle at breakfast! Fantastic staff, very clean, good beds.Breakfast was fine.
