The Sofitel was chosen by our tour operator for safe, interesting location. Our room was very nice, very clean. We arrived in the evening from the airport. Our room was a decent size with good air con. The bathroom had L’Occitane products and a decent over bath shower. My only negative is the lighting in the room was dreadful ! Theres dim lights by the bed and one spotlight on one side of the room. We had to use our phone torches to unpack. My wife and I spent 3 nights here in a luxury king room. We thought the place was great and would definitely stay again.The hotel is located in the Nord neighborhood which is one of the nicer areas of Bogota. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as a good brewpub (Cerveceria Gigantes).
