Severe injury from sharp metal in corridor — hotel refuses compensation

WARNING: Serious safety hazard in public corridors.I stayed at Millennium Wuxi on April 4, 2026 (Room 331). While walking normally through a corridor to the podium building, my left middle finger was deeply cut by an exposed stainless steel metal trim strip between decorative wall panels. The metal edge was razor-sharp with absolutely no safety treatment — no chamfering, no edge protection, no war… WARNING: Serious safety hazard in public corridors.I stayed at Millennium Wuxi on April 4, 2026 (Room 331). The 5-Star hotel come with a large and peaceful garden. It's less than a 30-minute drive from the international airport and railway station, and the metro station is just a 5-minute walk away. I stayed for more than a month. The breakfast menu hardly ever change. I used to stay here frequently for work trips in the last 5 years. Good hotel which is 4/5 with big rooms and good breakfast. Also wastern food available. Good wlan. Swimming pool. Not in city center but easy to go by taxi. I decided to stay here for a business trip to Wuxi - I didn’t realize it was super far from the core area of Wuxi. When I checked in, there was a super long line and the lady at the check in desk did not seem to care about the customers at all. She was busy doing other things and when she was free, was not friendly during the check in process.
