The rooms are dirtyand disgusting and the staff is not polite. For a late check-out you have to pay the full day tariff including the breakfast you don’t have.Discussion makes no sense because then they say they are not speaking english.The rooms are dirtyand disgusting and the staff is not polite. Advertised as a 5 star hotel I stayed here on business for 3 nights. Staff are very friendly welcoming and try their best with English. Really helpful if your Chinese is poor/non existent. As many other reviews have said this place needs an update. Starting to get a little tired but still nice

I first started staying here 10 years ago. Nice hotel with huge rooms. But now starting to get a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. The wifi is terrible. Trying to do a Skype call was hopeless!! The hotel is good but the the reception and the staff are terrible. They cannot speak English very well, also, they don’t give us correct information. I bought bus ticket to canton fair and I said that I wouldn’t use, they didn’t give the money back. They said that only in the day we bought, they could give back the money. Spectacular hotel that has not been well maintained but good value, not really for if you want to do business in the city as it is too far.
