The hotel is divided into a southern tower and a northern tower, situated on either side of the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. It is only a ten-minute walk from Baiyun Mountain.

I must commend their service. Room service attended to me quickly and were friendly. Importantly, my colleague lost a valuable item in the hotel and the hotel's response exceeded my expectations. I stayed here courtesy of China Southern both ways between Auckland and Amsterdam. There was about a 12 hour day time break between flights. The room was excellent, spacious and quiet and the free all you can eat breakfast was great. However the restaurant provides little else for the rest of the day and there is nothing else nearby. I checked into 1311 for 4 nights. The check in was at 4am on October 9 and the counter staff was very helpful even though she couldn’t get a high floor. The room was nicely decorated but the aircon could not be controlled so I had to turn it off. The second day there was no room service but the subsequent days were well done. We had a layover with China Southern, and they gave us a room for the day. We had a private car take us to the hotel, and then back to the airport.
