The Fauna hotel is really quirky. Just be aware there is no vehicle access to the hotel so be prepared to drag suitcases along a few cobbled streets. Also the building is on multiple levels & there is no lift so be warned. I upgraded from a standard to a superior room & the upside is a magnificent view over the town & harbour but that’s about it. The room is perfect for a couple. It's clean, spacious, and comfortable. Its location is great, too. Cerro Alegre is full of cafés, restaurants, shops, and beautiful murals.The 24/7 reception is also great. Good hotel in a great location, rooms well appointed and the restaurant has a nice terrace with great views over the city. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. Staff were super helpful, restaurant had great views over the city and delicious food. We ate lunch and dinner there. Our room was authentic and simple.
