I spend roughly 200 nights a year in hotels, and this was my worst hotel experience in several years. The rooms do not match the photos—the advertised ottoman was missing. Room service was consistently slow, and staff were remarkably unhelpful with anything beyond basic check-in and check-out. The service here is consistently excellent. The rooms are currently being refurbished, and I stayed in one that was superb. The staff are always friendly and willing to accommodate your requests. I'd especially like to highlight Anita, Paulina, Vicente, Edwin, Engelbert, and Gerardo (sadly retired) at the restaurant. At the concierge and front desk, the wonderful staff—Ana, Lorenzo, Juan, Jose, Ma… The service here is consistently excellent. Booked a suite woth interconnecting for a family of 5. Check in was fairly easy under IHG ambassador. On arrival noticed that both bathrooms had hand-wash in the shower area instead of body wash..took about 45 minutes to get a housekeeping to replace. 2nd bathtub plug also not working but maintenance guy came in 15mins to fix.
