We feel cheated and swindled.
Pictures do not reflect the current condition of the hotel. Hallways not lit, no amenities, No WiFi, towels are very small and multi-colored due to age. Very old and moldy smelling. Mold in bathroom and on ceilings. It was not a pleasant experience.Pictures do not reflect the current condition of the hotel. Filthy Scam Hotel - Do Not Stay
The Hotel Loreto presents itself online as a well kept boutique hotel in the center of many tourist activities. It is possible this image was true before COVID or something, but it is absolutely not true now. You'll notice there are not many recent reviews, which is usually a red flag but I somehow missed that. DO NOT STAT AT THIS HOTEL
The cleanliness is disgusting. Body hair all over the floor in the room, bathroom. After we complained they left us with NOT HOT WATER to take a shower. All receptionists were so rude and no open to help or hear us.The cleanliness is disgusting. Body hair all over the floor in the room, bathroom. Warm staff, cold rooms and water
The location is great, and the staff are very friendly - they were very polite every time I had to report no heat in the room and no hot water, which was daily. They turn it off to save power, which might be fine at limited hours, but coming into a cold room after walking around in a Santiago Winter, or trying to get ready in the morning with a cold shower, is very unpleasant. The hotel itself is… The location is great, and the staff are very friendly - they were very polite every time I had to report no heat in the room and no hot water, which was daily.
