Lovely stay at this beautiful lodge with wonderful views over the fjord. Large clean spacious rooms and bathrooms and very nice common areas to relax in. Wow what a wonderful hotel. My sister messed up her knee on the trip and this hotel couldn’t be more accommodating. They were awesome and really helped us in an emergency. Amazing hospitality. They offered a full vegan menu for us at the restaurant once we told them of our dietary restrictions. Hotel views were amazing. This hotel as a clue in the name…..it is 15 minutes walk from the edge of town. We stayed for 2 nights sandwiching a trip to Torres de Paine. Exterior and interior design are best described as quirky. Nothing is at a right angle, floors slope and corridors bend. Floors are very shiny and look slippy. We stayed at Remota for a couple of days and the rooms were beautiful. I mainly am writing the review because we had such an amazing experience with the staff. Everyone was so friendly and Javier, the restaurant manager, went above and beyond for us.
