A bit exy for what you get.
Quality Inn was priced in the lower price bracket. Booked as the cheapest option I found in Yellowknife. It is located downtown and walkabout to a number of areas. Did take a taxi to get out to the large retail stores. Number of restaurant options were walkable as were a couple tourist stops in town. Was able to walk to Bullocks for fish and chips. Stayed one night and was only here to sleep. Check-in was smooth. Bad experiences with this hotel
This hotel is located in the busiest area of ??Yellowknife. The low retaining wall is perfect for people to sit on, so every time I entered or exited the hotel I had to pass a group of odd strangers. One night I saw a fight taking place in front of the hotel in the middle of the night.The room service is terrible. Needs a total renovation!
I will say the staff was helpful and did their best considering the condition of the motel- it needs a massive renovation!! I didn’t want to walk on the carpet barefoot…the furniture was worm out - funny smell in the building - portable AC with pipes out open windows- homeless people outside begging- felt nervous to go out after dark - if you have OCD you won’t last a night here!I will say the staff was helpful and did their best considering the condition of the motel- it needs a massive renovation!!
