Our stay was very pleasant, we enjoyed the location, room size was decent enough for 2 adults. Mattress was really king size with extra comfort. This was our second time staying at this hotel. The staff were friendly, and there was a liquor store and a Chinese restaurant within the same complex. The washroom felt a bit run down compared to the room, but the bed and pillow linens were clean. No sound proofing, too noisy.
The room was clean and the decor updated for a 2-3 star hotel. However, the building is very old and there is NO SOUND PROOFING. People on all sides make a lot of noise. We waited until late to book a hotel and most were either sold out or prohibitively expensive, so we booked here. Hadn't stayed at a Red Lion in decades! Our room, which was nice and clean if worn, was on the 3rd floor, overlooking the pool with 2 double beds and a small kitchenette (microwave, plug-in induction cooktop that was in the cabinet, coffeemaker and fridge).
