Fancy but ...

Some of the staff seemed to discriminate guests based on their appearance. Very clean room and bathroom. Had a suite but no microwaves. Also, the fridge was running but not cooling. Did not appreciate the fact that they charge extra for hotel guest parking, complete ripoff.

Nice & comfortable stay, big gym!

When we booked this hotel we were keeping our fingers crossed based on the mixed reviews, but we didn’t have any problems at all.Our king suite on the 9th floor is quite nice. It’s spacious and clean, 2 TVs and plenty of sofa seatings. We had a comfortable 6 nights stay while visiting from NY. We really love that hotel guests can use the Unionville Athletic Club on premise. The gym is big with a lot of machines & workout equipments. Plenty of parkings on site (with fee) and very convenient location for us considered our visit mostly for Asian food/eats. We will absolutely stay here again on our next ‘food trip’!

overpriced for quality of service

stayed for one night. Very disappointed that check in is at 4 pm and the pool closed at 7 and you have to make an appointment. For this reason I was unable to use amenities I paid for. The spa closed at 8 pm again due to check in timing unable to use amenities. The fact that it was a Saturday night and amenities shut down so early is very disappointing.Cleanliness in room was satisfactory. The coffee station had coffee stains on sugar packets, no stir sticks and the creamer was sour. The shampoo, and creams were pretty much empty. The price is too high for the quality of service received.I probably would not return.

Watch for billing nightmares

Nice hotel, amazing room but front desk/billing hassle will prevent me from ever staying at a Hilton again. My work booked a room for 4 nights for me to attend work skills fair at nearby conference centre. When I got to hotel the room that my employer had booked and PRE PAYED for had a “problem” with the credit card. It was late and I just payed the cost of the room myself at that point. Front desk staff didn’t care about this stating “well at least your reservation wasn’t cancelled” Fast forward to check out they wanted to scan my card again even though I had supposedly paid the whole balance on check in and had receipt to say so. I got home and they charged me TWICE for the entire stay (not even a pending and actual two full charges) I called hotel and again staff didn’t seem phased that this was a huge error and stressor for their customer. Stated it would be reversed within 7 days. Is is common practice for one of the largest hotel chains to charge their customers twice ? (not to mention toon the $600 hold on my card additionally for damage deposit) I have NEVER had such a billing nightmare at any hotel I have stayed at. Double charge was eventually reversed but not worth the stress to book here again.

We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom suite and appreciated the thoughtful fruit basket and card provided during our stay while the hotel was undergoing construction.After checkout, there was a miscommunication, and once I contacted the hotel, Mohit Singh, Grace at the front desk, and Manager Marcos communicated with me professionally and consistently until the matter was resolved.Special thanks to Grace for her exceptional customer service and Marcos for personally following up. Overall, the team’s professionalism and commitment to guest satisfaction stood out.
