Wife and I have been going to the Oaks for 28 years . Once and sometimes twice a year. Great location. Staff is great and very accommodating. I have been there several times. This time was awful. Rooms were dirty, needed vacuuming, no soap in shower, had to go downstairs and ask for washcloths every morning. We asked through the day, none available??? In laundry we were told. Wifi barely worked, probably look for somewhere else next time.I have been there several times. This time was awful. Upon arrival, we waited an hour in line for check in. The room we had was 14th floor, and split up by stairs...the room was sub par, due to layout, and cleanliness throughout hotel (room included) No coffee in room, cob webs and smears on walls, dirty windows that obscured the "falls view". Will not return to this hotel when visiting Niagra again, especially at over $300! A night.Upon arrival, we waited an hour in line for check in. First, I will start by saying that the only reason why it got a two-star score was because the staff is phenomenal, especially Muhammad. The owner, however ,should be embarrassed at the dilapidated conditions of the building. Check in was smooth, and they shared that they were having some mechanical issues so they moved me from the bottom ground floor and upgraded me to the second level.
