Our bathroom floor was not washed when we checked in(as seen in the shared video) I went to the front counter to notify the staff of the unacceptable standards of the bathroom. There is no air conditioning in the lobby and hallway. Fortunately, the A/C does work in my room. Don't forget, it is a hot summer day. The A/C in the exercise room does not work as well. On top, the breakfast room comes with out-of-order pan cake maker and fridge. Better than that, only half of the toaster was working and resulted in long line up. Holiday Inn used to be our favourite place to stay. We come here a couple times a year for a weekend getaway as my kids love the waterslide. This time I wasn’t as happy as previous stays. Our room smelt terrible and the walls were dirty. The pool area smelt like sewer. Very limited options at the breakfast, lots of the food trays were empty. Hotel was conveniently located and close to the highway, and shops. The room was a nice size, comfortable and clean. A nice amount of counter space in the bathroom - always a plus. We stayed one night. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. Check in was quick and easy.
